Coca Cola + Marvel: Comicans


My role and responsibilities: Discovery, ideation, research, managing and leading other colleagues, storyboarding, prototyping, critique and refinement, 3rd-party consulting, asset creation + production, final product evangelism.

In the latest chapter of Coca‑Cola’s storied history with Disney, GUT and WPP Open X, led by VML, Ogilvy, BCW, and supported by Momentum and Forpeople, unveiled “Coca‑Cola x Marvel: The Heroes.”

This global campaign, which went live on April 8, promoted new limited-edition Coca‑Cola pack designs featuring 38 character illustrations from the Marvel Universe through immersive storytelling and digital experiences. It also includes an immersive AR extension, allowing consumers to scan a can and interact with all 32 characters, as well as “face-offs” between two characters when the products are put together.
